Is it different from last year?

The theme of THE HOTEL changes every year and for every season. If you've seen us before, you can expect a new experience this season!

How many people can go in at once?

THE HOTEL can accommodate a maximum of 6 people per group. Having more people diminishes the experience and makes it very difficult to move through the attraction.

Will I be touched?

YES! THE HOTEL is an interactive haunted house. The actors may touch you on the shoulder, brush against your neck or hair, or grab at your hand. They will not grab and hold on to you. Please note that you are NOT allowed to touch the actors at any time. Anyone doing so will be removed from the attraction without a refund.

Will I see real spirits?

THE HOTEL is an actor-filled haunted house, located inside a real haunted building. It is possible that you may encounter a REAL ghost while inside. We have had multiple guests compliment us on the performance of "actors" that we know are not members part of human team of workers!

Is it child-friendly?

THE HOTEL is an intense haunted house and is not recommended for children under the age of 16. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We caution parents to be certain that your child is ready for our haunt as no refunds are given once you enter the building. After 9PM, ALL guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, we do sell tickets at the door however, on busy nights we DO sell out. Once we have sold out for the night, we will stop selling tickets at the door and you won't be able to get in. Purchasing your ticket online guarantees that you will be able to get in, and is strongly advised if you are traveling a long distance to get here.

Can I record or film?

The use of recording devices in THE HOTEL is strictly prohibited and is a violation of copyright law. This includes cell phones, video cameras, digital or flash photography, audio recordings, etc. You will be immediately removed from the attraction without a refund if you are found using one of these devices.

What about health conditions?

THE HOTEL is not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with a heart condition, seizure disorder, asthma, recent surgery, or who is wearing a cast or sling. Strobe lights, fog effects, and many other implements which can cause distortion of sight and sound are used. The attraction is not considered to be handicapped accessible. Some of the passageways are very narrow and not able to accommodate a wheelchair. It is located on the first floor of the building, and therefore may be accessible for some individuals.

Any group discounts?

Yes! We offer a 10% discount off of any ticket price for groups of 15 or more people, however all tickets must be purchased in a single transaction. We cannot split the transaction between multiple people. Please contact us directly by email or Facebook messenger to book your group.

Is it scary?

The GHOST TOUR is not an actor-filled haunted house. Although the tour is not designed to be scary, it is designed to be a bit spooky and you we occasionally encounter things that do make people jump. This is a real haunted building with multiple documented occurences of paranormal activity, and sometimes the spirits do get playful and tend to startle guests. We've even had several guests whose tour became so intense that they couldn't even finish the tour!

What can I expect on the tour?

We tour the upper two floors of the hotel. The building is still in the state it was in when it was abandoned in the 1940's. There is no electricity on these floors. There will be at least two guides on your tour to direct you through the hotel with flashlights. We ask that you do not bring your own flashlights as it diminishes the experience. You will need to be able to climb three flights of stairs, and if you book the extended tour, you also need to be able to climb up and down through a hole in the wall. As for the experience, expect dark, creepy rooms and hallways, dark shadows moving around, and unexplained noises as the spirits find various ways to make their presence known.

How many people can go in at once?

The GHOST TOUR can accommodate a maximum of 6 people per group. Having more people tends to be disruptive to the investigation and negatively affects the experience. If you absolutely >NEED more people on your tour, please contact us and we can discuss your options.

Will I see real spirits?

The GHOST TOUR is conducted by real psychics, and their information is verified scientifically using paranormal detection equipment. The tour is designed to uncover REAL ghost activity. Spirits are unpredictable, and so we cannot guarantee any paranormal activity on your tour however, every tour we have conducted in the past has experienced some degree of paranormal activity.

Will I be touched?

There are no scare-actors on the GHOST TOUR, however we have had numerous reports of guests being touched by the spirits... a brush on the neck or arm, or in some cases pushed, or even yanked back against the wall!

Is it child-friendly?

The GHOST TOUR is a serious paranormal investigation and is not intended for children. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We caution parents to be certain any child under 18 years of age is ready for this type of activity.

Can I record or film?

The use of recording devices to film your entire GHOST TOUR is strictly prohibited. You may however record small video and audio clips for the purpose of the paranormal investigation. We also encourge you to take pictures throughout the tour as you can sometimes capture paranormal evidence in your pictures. We have had multiple guests find unexplainable things in their pictures and video clips.

What about health conditions?

The GHOST TOUR covers the upper two floors of the building. There is no working elevator in the building. As such, you must be physically able to climb three-flights of stairs. Guests on the extended tour must be able to climb up and down through a hole in the wall. Please use caution of you have any breathing disorders as there is a lot of dust in the abandonded areas of the building. The use of a face mask is recommended if you have any concern.

What can I expect from the psychic reading?

Guests of our PSYCHIC READINGS can expect a wide array of experience, depending on the type of reading you choose. We offer traditional "cold" readings, runes, and tarot readings. In most situations, the spirit realm decides what information you will receive based on your individual need. You may be able to communicate with a loved one who has crossed over. You may receive answers to questions about your life path or you may receive direction on your spiritual journey. Despite the outcome, we will attempt to direct your reading to your desired goal, but ultimately the spirits are in control.

If you wish to attempt to make contact with a loved one, please bring an item with you which belonged to them.

Can I bring someone with me for the psychic reading?

The PSYCHIC READING is an individualized experience. The best results will occur when you meet alone with your psychic and any of their assistants. Ultimately the spirits choose whom and how they wish to communicate, and having extra people in the room with you could cause the reading to become focused on them at any time. As such, if you wish to have someone accompany you, then you will need to book the Psychic Reading for Two.

A PSYCHIC READING is a serious spiritual activity, and is not typically intended for children. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and you must book a the psychic reading for both people since we have no control over with whom the spirits choose to interact.

Can I record or film?

During your PSYCHIC READING we ask that you do not bring electronic devices of any kind into your reading because these devices can potentially disrupt the reading.

Refunds

There are no refunds. All sales are final. If you are too scared to finish your tour, inform the nearest security person and they will escort you to the closest exit. Once you exit, you will need a new ticket if you decide to try again.

Parking

There is a free public parking lot directly across the road from the hotel.

Rain and Weather Conditions

All of our attractions are indoor. Rain does not prevent us from operating. During inclement weather, if there is a small line of people waiting to enter, you may wait inside our lobby. If there is a long line, you can wait in your car and we will text you when it is your time to enter.

Filming Disclaimer

By entering into the Garrett Hotel building, you automatically agree to be filmed for any and all media purposes known now or to be developed, into perpetuity, without compensation or acknowledgement.

Security

Flashlights, cameras, cellphones, laser pointers, purses, and bags are NOT permitted inside THE HOTEL. You will be removed from the attraction without a refund if you are found using one of these devices.

No guns, knives, or weapons of any type. No drugs, no alcohol, no smoking. If you are intoxicated you will not be admitted to any of our attractions. We have a zero tolerance rate for trouble makers. Trouble makers will be removed from the property without refund. If any of our actors or guests are harmed, or our property is damaged, we reserve the right to remove you from the attraction and you may be prosecuted. We want everyone to have a safe and fun time!

Enter at your own risk

By purchasing a ticket to any of our haunt events, you acknowledge that you are Entering At You Own Risk and take full responsibility for your actions as well as any circumstances that may develop as a result of experiencing the event. You agree to hold harmless Grande Illusions Entertainment, The Hotel, Garrett Hotel Ghost Tours, and/or any of the affiliates or assigns of those listed above for any reaction to paranormal phenomena, or liability, be it physical, emotional or mental. You are responsible for any damages that you cause to property or equipment.
